What an Octoberfest!

Lederhosen, good beer, great atmosphere - in this dark November, it's good to remember the time of short pants (i.e. lederhosen) and a great October party at the office in Gothenburg with party participants from both Infotiv and Combine.

So here's a curiosity: what do we really know about Oktoberfests?

The phenomenon originated in Munich and began as a celebration of the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig (later King Ludwig I of Bavaria) and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen.

This first and very well attended Oktoberfest included a horse race to conclude the celebrations. We'll have to think about what we at Infotiv can do to get as close to the original as possible next year.

Now we are looking forward to the cozy Advent season with Christmas cuddles, Christmas parties and lit candles that light up the winter darkness.
