Premiere of our new website!

It is a great pleasure for us at Infotiv to launch a brand new website. It feels fantastic to be able to enter the year 2024 in a new fresh costume, where we have also found new educational ways to present both the whole and our different areas of activity.

- It has really been an exciting and creative journey, where we at Infotiv have taken the opportunity to look at ourselves with new eyes. We have involved many of our employees and each business area has really had to think about how to present themselves in the best possible way.

- The number of inquiries via the website from interested customers has increased annually and we want to see more of this. It is noticeable that business to business is also becoming increasingly digital. We have also reduced the amount of information and focus more on what is most important, our competencies and services. We have removed information about industries, for example, as many of our services are requested by an increasing number of customers, without any clear link to a specific industry.

In developing the new website, a number of factors have been prioritized.

- A lot has happened in the last few years, both in terms of law and web technology. We have placed great emphasis on complying with the GDPR, not least when it comes to third-party services, font management and tracking. For example, we use the measurement tool Matomo so that the measurement data we collect complies with the GDPR.

- We also wanted to be able to present our message in several languages. But as many people know, maintaining a multilingual site is relatively difficult and time-consuming. Our solution is to use an AI-like translation service. Now we have the site in Swedish and English, but the plan is to make it available in German and other languages soon. Really smooth and good enough for people from other countries to take advantage of our offer.

A website's speed or loading time is important for how well it ranks in various search indexes and in the work on the new website, great emphasis has been placed on optimization and speed.

- At the same time, we wanted to use a lot of moving images and animation on the site, which slows down the website. But thanks to modern web technologies and skilled coders, the site is fast, even though many pages contain video and animations.

Another exciting feature of the new site is the tagging system, which allows you to quickly find similar news items to the one you are looking at.

- I would like to thank all the staff who have contributed, our advertising agency Åttonde Huset for design and project management, and the web agency Spiro for coding. It feels really good to go into 2024 with a brand new website.
