Find out more about our recruitment process, what happens at each stage and what is expected from you and from us.
All our services areare advertised on our websiteand some positions are also published through other channels. All so that you can find the job or service you find interesting and that fits in with what you want and can do.
Of course, we read all the applications we receive for a position - if you have taken the time to apply, we will certainly take the time to read them! We don't want to risk missing the gems.
FIRST SELECTION
When we make the first selection from the applications received, we of course look at your experience - it is often the foundation of your future. But we put just as much emphasis on your potential, your motivation, your values and your personality. For us, there is a difference between just being good and being right. It's all about the fit between you, the organization and the position in question.
Simply put, you need to meet our requirements and your application should demonstrate an interest and commitment to us as an employer.
We try to be fast, both for the sake of the candidate and for our customers, so we conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and it may be that the position is filled before the deadline for applications has passed.
TELEPHONE RECONCILIATION
Once we have made the initial selection and chosen the best candidates, we usually start with a short phone interview, simply to find out a bit more about you. We usually check your availability and salary expectations so that it's not what it comes down to in the end. All so that we do not take up your and our time unnecessarily.
INTERVIEW WITH US
If everything checks out when we talk on the phone, we will schedule a first interview. Then you meet us and go through our desired profile and match it with your experience and wishes. We ask questions about your formal skills, what you have accomplished in previous and current jobs, but also about what you want for the future, what type of organization you enjoy working in, what drives you, and so on.
It is also during the first interview that we go through the professional role of consultant. What is it like to work as a consultant at Infotiv and is it something that suits you?
WE KEEP YOU INFORMED
After the interview, we compile the information and check it against the requirements profile in the application. We will then call you to let you know. If you and we agree to proceed, we will schedule a second interview.
PREPARING FOR THE SECOND INTERVIEW
When you receive the invitation, you will of course be told who you will be meeting so that you can prepare yourself. We will also give you tips and advice on what you should highlight in your skills and on questions you can ask about the engineering job and the company.
The difference between the first and second interview is that in the first interview we focus more on your background and your personality - in other words, whether you are suitable as a consultant with us. The second interview is more technical and where we go through your competencies and find out what you can bring to our organization. This is also where we go through suitable assignments that may be suitable.
We will then keep in touch with you and inform you about the continuation of the process.
It may also be that we - and the client - want you to conduct an assignment interview for the intended assignment. In that case, we will call you well in advance and of course we will be there before, during and after the interview to support you.
WE TAKE REFERENCES
If you are one of the final candidates, we always talk to at least two of your references. We would like these to be former or current managers. As additional references, you can also provide a colleague or partner who knows you well. We then compile the results to make a final decision on whether or not you are suitable for the position.
FINAL DECISION
We are with you until the position is filled and will keep you informed throughout the process.
