Exciting drone project at Infotiv

As usual, there are fun things going on at Infotiv. Here they are working on a drone launcher for the Swedish Sea Rescue Society. The purpose is to use drones as an aid in sea rescue and the project is a collaboration between academia and industry.

At Infotiv, we are now working on performance optimization of the firing mechanism for the upcoming field trials, where the complete drone system will be tested in its real-world environment and deployed in case of a live alarm.

Soon the launcher will move from our conference room to Långedrag, where the field tests will take place in early June.
