2007-05-24 Infotiv opens new project office in Gothenburg and recruits more staff
Infotiv has opened a
third office in Gothenburg. The office has 18 workplaces, is situated close
to Volvo city and will specialise in projects for Volvo Car Corporation
and its collaboration partners.
Infotiv now has a total of six offices located in Gothenburg, Trollhättan,
Södertälje and Beijing.
”The number of projects and assignments means
that we need to expand with new offices as well as increase capacity in
our existing offices. During the spring we will increase the number of workplaces
by approximately 40. During the past six months we have grown by
20% and now have over 220 employees. We hope to exceed 250 in the autumn”, said Alf Berntsson, Infotiv’s CEO.
Infotiv’s headquarters are located on Västra Hamngatan in central
Gothenburg. A project office run in collaboration with Volvo Car Corporation
and connected directly to their product development department in Torslanda
is already established.
For the past few years Infotiv has had an office in Trollhättan and
during the summer of 2005 an office in Södertälje was established,
as a base for expansion in the Mälardalen area and Stockholm.
Finally, an international expansion began during the spring with Infotiv
opening an office in Beijing. A regional manager has already been appointed,
recruitment of Chinese consultants has begun and the first assignments have
commenced.
