Infotiv sign general agreement with Ringhals
power station
A general agreement with Sweden’s largest nuclear power station, Ringhals/Forsmark is a breakthrough for Infotiv within the development led energy sector. The contract extends over a two-year period and will necessitate considerable recruiting. The contract comprises consultancy services such as project managers, electrical, mechanical and system engineers as well as expertise within information design.
”We estimate that this agreement, together with other opportunities within the energy sector will generate approximately 20 million SEK worth of business over a two-year period and that we will need to employ around ten new people this year”, said a delighted Alf Berntsson, Infotiv’s CEO.
Infotiv’s first two assignments at Ringhals have already commenced.
”This collaboration with Ringhals means that we further consolidate our already wide customer base in the Gothenburg region. For our employees, many of whom live south of Gothenburg this collaboration with Ringhals signifies close proximity to an interesting place of work with considerable development potential”, continued Alf Berntsson.
Infotiv will continue to invest in the environmental and energy sectors in order to further increase its expertise within these areas. Investments in advanced optimisation calculations will also be made in order to reduce energy consumption of power sources, powered by fossil fuels.
