Infotiv launch a web based environmental training
Infotiv have developed a web based environmental training course. One of the modules in the training course is adapted to corporate needs and presents Infotiv’s environmental work and objectives. The training course will also be adapted for and sold to customers.
The purpose of this training course is to increase the awareness of the company’s environmental work and encourage all the employees to take a personal responsibility for the climate. It offers many good tips, smart solutions to problems and ways to implement them in real life.
”We want to be a benchmark for others and this course is a good example of us taking responsibility for the climate”, said Lars- Erik Nilsson, Infotiv’s Quality Manager. “Infotiv’s environmental effect is relatively low, but by thinking outside the box, we can make a significant contribution with this simple but effective training course”.
One of Infotiv’s environmental objectives for 2008 is that every employee should make a commitment to be more environmentally aware. The final test in the course is therefore designed as a personal promise rather than an educational assessment and this commitment will encourage the person to do something concrete.
”If all of the nearly 300 employees do at least one thing differently, we will soon reach a significant result”, Lars-Erik continued.
Since 2005 Infotiv has been environmentally certified according to ISO14001. Infotiv’s system has been praised for its simplicity and clarity.
